HIST 381 - European Integration Since 1945

This course examines attempts by European nations to achieve greater international integration in the economic, political, military, and cultural spheres since the end of World War II. Students will learn about the ways in which Europeans have tried to achieve integration and the implications of different kinds and degrees of integration for national sovereignty. The course will end with an examination of the prospects for and challenges to greater integration in the future.
