MATH 521 - Real Analysis I

The first course of a three-semester sequence in real analysis, including such topics as real number systems, elements of point-set topology and metric spaces, sequences and series of real numbers, continuity, differentiation, integration, the Reimann-Stieltjes Integral, sequences, and series of functions, point wise and uniform convergence, functions of several variables, implicit function, and inverse function theorems.
Prerequisite: MATH 412 or consent of department
