A calculus-based study of the three laws of thermodynamics with derivation of equilibrium constants from chemical potential, Raoult’s Law, the phase rule, and equilibrium electrochemistry including the Debye-Hueckle theory. Prerequisite: CHEM 211 and CHEM 212 and MATH 241 and MATH 242 and PHYS 121 and PHYS 122 (may be taken concurrently)
