MUSI 221 - Foundations of Teaching for Music

This course introduces the foundations of teaching for music through various topics and experiences. Topics include: music teaching as a profession, North Carolina Music Standards, and music content and pedagogical knowledge. Advanced topics include: lesson plan design and an introduction to edTPA.
