BCBE majors are expected to complete 9 additional hours of course work beyond major requirements. HCM minor courses may not be used to fulfill business electives for major requirements.

• HIT 370 - Healthcare Information Applications

• or

• ISBA 320 - Database Management Systems
• HIT 380 - Healthcare Business Intelligence

• or

• ISBA 312 - Introduction to Business Analytics
• HCM 313 - Medical Coding for Managers I

• or

• HCM 314 - Medical Coding for Managers II

• or one HIT or ISBA elective (300-499). Must be selected in consultation with advisor.
