Cybersecurity Minor

Minor Requirements

Grade of C or higher in all minor/ certificate requirements. A computer science major who has satisfied the requirements will be awarded a certificate in cybersecurity. A degree seeking student who is not majoring in computer science will be awarded a minor in cybersecurity.

• MATH 123 - College Algebra or higher
• STAT 202 - Basic Probability and Statistics (or higher) or BADM 216 , CRJC 315 , POLI 240 , PSYC 233 , SOCI 331 , or SWRK 321  
• CSC 140 - Cybersecurity Ethics and Cybercrime
• CSC 270 - Networking Basics
• CSC 280 - Computer Security Basics
• CSC 311 - Network Security
