Career Readiness Enhancement Designations (CREDs) are short sequences of courses designed to improve student learning, soft skills, and appeal to future potential employers. Generally consisting of fewer courses than a minor or certificate, CREDs are course sequences that can be taken throughout the curriculum. Approved CREDs appear on transcripts and earn digital badges for the student.
Applicants do not need to apply to the university to undertake the certificate, only enroll in classes as non-degree seeking students. Students must receive a grade of C or higher in program requirements, and the courses used to fulfill certificate requirements may apply to general education, major, or minor requirements.
