EDAM 650 - Educational Leadership Development Seminar Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
This seminar is an introductory graduate course in educational leadership for prospective leaders at all levels of the school organization. Elements of effective leadership, standards-based educational leadership, role conceptions, and personal leadership vision will be presented. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to develop into a successful, innovative educational leader. Students will apply this knowledge to build and embrace their philosophical and theoretical frameworks as prospective school leaders. Clinical experiences in school and district settings will be required. Prerequisite: Must be admitted to the MSA degree program.
