This course focuses on materials’ structures and their electronic, magnetic, and optical properties. This course comprises lectures, quizzes, demonstrations, graphics and visualization, simulations, and discussions. Upon successfully completing the course, students will learn the essential concepts required to analyze solid-state materials’ structural, electronic, magnetic, and optical properties Prerequisite: PHYS 126 and MATS 204
