The course investigates kinetics, chemical equilibria, acid-base equilibria, solubility equilibria, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. The course has an additional mandatory one-hour non-credit recitation period per week.
Prerequisite: CHEM 141 and CHEM 141L and MATH 130 or MATH 131
