PADM 513 - Public Personnel Administration

This course examines modern theory and practice of personnel administration. The application of these theories and practices in the areas of recruitment, placement, career development, and in other phases of human resources management is covered. Recent issues arising from notions of comparable worth; implementation of affirmative action initiatives and from collective bargaining in the public sector represents topics for close analysis. This course is cross-listed with POLI 535.
