This course provides students with an in-depth exploration of military culture from interdisciplinary perspectives, emphasizing the critical analysis of key themes such as leadership, organizational dynamics, ethics, diversity, combat experiences, historical contexts, and technological advancements. Through a combination of readings, discussions, research projects, and writing assignments, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the complexities inherent in military institutions and their broader societal impacts. Drawing on concepts from sociology, psychology, history, ethics, and technology studies, students will examine how military culture shapes individual behavior, organizational structures, and global security dynamics.
