This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of employee compensation and benefits. Students will learn about the various types of employee compensation and benefits options available to organizations. Additionally, this course will cover the tangible and intangible reward systems necessary to motivate employees and increase organization performance. Topics such as base pay, merit pay, profit sharing, executive compensation, designing pay structures, health benefits, retirement plans, employee planned, and unplanned leave will be addressed. Prerequisite: MGMT 410 (may be taken concurrently)
