CHEM 313 - Physical Chemistry I Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
The first course in a two-semester sequence of calculus-based physical chemistry that investigates the properties of real gases, the three laws of thermodynamics, phase equilibria for single and binary systems, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, the transport properties of matter, the kinetic theory, and the application and derivation of integrated rate laws. Prerequisite: CHEM 211 and CHEM 211L and MATH 241 and MATH 242 and PHYS 125 and PHYS 125L and PHYS 126 and PHYS 126L (may be taken concurrently)
