Program Requirements

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Overall minimum GPA of 2.7 on 4.0 scale for all undergraduate work or minimum 2.75 on 4.0 scale in last 60 hours of study which may include no more than 12 graduate hours.

Professional Education Courses: 29 Credits


EDUC 450 may not be taken until student is admitted to Teacher Education. EDMG 470 and EDUC 490 may not be taken until student is admitted to Clinical Experience (Student Teaching) and are taken during the last and final semester

PRAXIS Core Academic Skills for Educators: Mathematics (5732)—Score 150 or a Composite Score of 468

PRAXIS II Requirement


PRAXIS II Test: 5169 Middle School Mathematics—Score 165.
