CSC 482 - Capstone Project II

This course is the second of two Capstone Project courses. This course is based on using skills and knowledge learned from cybersecurity degree program courses to build medium to large-sized projects. Students are expected to utilize core cybersecurity technical and professional skills to complete medium to large-sized cybersecurity group projects. Technical skills include the understanding of the societal factors that impact the cybersecurity domain and understanding how cybersecurity issues impact humans. The professional skills include problem-solving, communication, influencing, collaboration, and group management. Students will propose and select topics and apply multi-faceted analysis models and problem-solving techniques to identify, assess, and manage risk and deliver impact. Project topics must address cybersecurity issues and concepts.
Prerequisite: CSC 433 , CSC 471 , and CSC 481
