FORS 325 - Molecular Biology Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2
An in-depth study of the structure, function, and biochemistry of proteins and nucleic acids. Isolation, purification and structural modification of DNA and protein in laboratory exercises will be utilized to provide an understanding of the various DNA/protein methodologies and their applicability to forensic science. This course is cross listed with BIOL 325 . Prerequisite: BIOL 200 and CHEM 222 and CHEM 223 and CHEM 224
