This course introduces fundamentals of additive manufacturing (AM), an emerging new technology in manufacturing, including concept, development, design, and manufacturing processes. Students will learn and gain experiences in the various materials and structures for AM, and associated algorithms and computer software tools.
Prerequisite: MATS 204 and MNFG 250
