This course introduces IoT systems, architectures, standards & protocols, and IoT applications. Topics include IoT network architecture and design, smart objects, wireless communications, network and application protocols, big data and machine learning, and IoT security and applications. Students will learn how to develop and implement IoT technologies, solutions, and applications using electronics, microcontrollers, and single board computers.
