MIS 499 - Management Information Systems Co-Op Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
MIS Co-op offers students an opportunity to prepare for a career involving the application of information technology by combining academic theory and work experience. Three hours of academic credit are awarded for half-time paid work experience over a 15-week period. The cooperative education staff, the student, the MIS Co-op director, and the employer’s co-op supervisor must agree on the employment terms and the learning experience to be gained in a written contract. The academic grade is assigned by the MIS Co-op director based on student reports and reports of the employer’s co-op supervisor. Prerequisite: MIS 300
